Hello! I’m Jackie Steffen, and I’m a Generalist.

In the professional world, some might view this as the label of an amateur, a derogatory term used to sneer at one’s lack of focus. I, however, wear my Generalist title with a proud, perverse pleasure, and it shows in the work that I do.

What do I do? I illustrate, I write, I manage, I learn, I design, and I understand. I obsess over details and I embrace the ever-present Big Picture. I get excited about stuff when others are worried, and I make sure things go off without a hitch while others are popping open the champagne bottles.

My accomplishments cannot be contained on a conventional resume (their molecules move so quickly that they set paper on fire after a while), so this website will help you get a better scope of what I do.
